Find yourself through the initiation course, where you will learn graphic expression through drawing, explore volumes through modeling, and practice the complete process of garment making in the workshop. In second year, equipped with acquired knowledge, you will be capable of executing the entire process of a fashion collection. After completing company internships, you will become familiar with the real world of the textile industry, and conclude your studies with a final project. Módulos estilismo de indumentaria

History of Clothing

First Year Course / 4 Hours per Week

The History of Clothing module aims to provide students with comprehensive training in the knowledge and analysis of the historical evolution of fashion and clothing, from ancient times to the present day. Throughout this module, students examine different historical periods and their characteristics in terms of fashion and clothing. Emphasis is placed on contextualizing each period and analyzing the social, cultural, and economic factors that influenced fashion and clothing trends. The module also explores the various techniques and materials used in garment construction throughout history, as well as the evolution of clothing forms and silhouettes from ancient times to the present day. The importance of research and critical analysis of documentary and visual sources, such as paintings, engravings, photographs, and films, for understanding the evolution of fashion and clothing is emphasized.

Natural Drawing and its Application to Clothing

Course 1 / 10 hours per week.

The module of natural drawing and its application to clothing in the higher cycle of garment styling in Andalusia aims to provide students with the necessary skills and tools for the graphic representation of the human body, drawing live models, and applying these skills to the design and creation of garments.

During this module, students learn natural drawing techniques, which include observation and analysis of proportions and measurements of the human body, representation of different postures and movements, lighting and shading, among other aspects.

Furthermore, the application of these techniques to the design and creation of garments is studied, focusing on the graphic representation of the different pieces and elements that make up a garment, such as collars, sleeves, necklines, skirts, etc.

Emphasis is placed on the importance of precision and attention to detail in the graphic representation of garments, as well as the ability to convey ideas and concepts through drawing.

Technical Drawing

Course 1 / 2 hours per week.

The Technical Drawing module aims to teach students the skills and tools necessary for the graphic representation of garments using specific technical drawing techniques and tools. During this module, students learn the rules and conventions of technical drawing, such as symbolism, nomenclature, representation of different views, dimensioning, and other aspects. They are also taught how to use specific tools and software for technical drawing, such as AutoCAD or Illustrator. Additionally, the application of these techniques to the design and creation of garments is studied, focusing on the graphic representation of the different pieces and elements that make up a garment, such as collars, sleeves, necklines, skirts, etc. Students learn to draw patterns, sketches, and technical sheets of garments, following industry standards. The importance of precision and attention to detail in the graphic representation of garments is emphasized, as well as the ability to convey ideas and concepts through technical drawing.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Curso 2º / 8 horas semanales

The CAD module in the higher cycle of fashion styling in Andalusia aims to teach students how to use specific design software for creating and producing garments. During this module, students learn to utilize computer-aided design tools and software like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Clo3D to create sketches, patterns, designs, and virtual models of garments. They are taught to create vector drawings, utilize different effects and filters, and apply photo retouching techniques to enhance image quality. Furthermore, they learn to utilize specific tools for pattern and design creation, such as digitizing patterns from prototypes or creating patterns digitally. The simulation of garments in different fabrics and textures is also studied to visualize the final design outcome. As the use of CAD in fashion design and styling becomes increasingly common in the industry, this module is essential for students to be prepared for the professional world. Learning to use CAD design software enables them to create designs quickly and efficiently, and provides the opportunity to present their ideas more clearly and attractively to clients or employers.

MARKETING

Course 1 / 3 hours per week

The marketing module aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to design and execute effective marketing strategies for the fashion industry. As part of the curriculum, this module covers specific topics related to the world of fashion and its relationship with the market.

In this advanced level module, students will learn how to identify the target market for a fashion brand, analyze and evaluate market trends, create effective advertising campaigns, and design retail strategies to achieve sales objectives. They will also be taught how to use online marketing tools, such as social media and e-commerce platforms, to promote their fashion brands. Additionally, students will develop communication and public relations strategies to enhance the brand’s image in the market.

Pattern making and sewing

Curso 1º / 8 horas semanales

El módulo de modelismo es uno de los módulos más importantes en la formación de los estudiantes. Este módulo tiene como objetivo enseñar a los estudiantes las técnicas y habilidades necesarias para crear patrones y diseños de prendas de vestir desde cero.

El modelismo es una disciplina fundamental para cualquier diseñador de moda ya que permite transformar la idea creativa en un modelo real. A través de este módulo, los estudiantes aprenderán cómo diseñar patrones, cómo tomar medidas precisas, cómo trabajar con diferentes tipos de tejidos y cómo realizar ajustes necesarios en las prendas.

En este módulo, los estudiantes también aprenderán a utilizar herramientas y equipos de modelismo, como las máquinas de coser, las tijeras, los hilos y los patrones de corte. Además, se les enseñará a realizar pruebas de ajuste y a realizar correcciones necesarias en los patrones para obtener el ajuste y la forma adecuados de la prenda.

En resumen, el módulo de modelismo en el ciclo superior de estilismo de indumentaria en Andalucía es esencial para que los estudiantes adquieran habilidades técnicas en la creación de patrones y diseños de prendas de vestir. MODELISMO: ESTILISTA

Curso 2º / 5 horas semanales

El módulo de modelismo: estilista tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los estudiantes las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para diseñar, crear y modificar prendas de vestir con un enfoque específico en el estilismo.

Este módulo se centra en enseñar a los estudiantes cómo desarrollar habilidades técnicas avanzadas en el modelismo y la creación de patrones, y cómo aplicar estas habilidades al proceso creativo de la moda. Los estudiantes aprenderán a trabajar con diferentes materiales y técnicas de costura, y cómo crear patrones y prototipos para diferentes tipos de prendas.

Además, el módulo de modelismo: estilista también incluye la enseñanza de las técnicas de estilismo, que es la habilidad de seleccionar y combinar diferentes prendas de vestir para crear un estilo determinado. Los estudiantes aprenderán a desarrollar su propio estilo, así como a entender y aplicar las tendencias de moda actuales en sus diseños.

Este módulo también incluye la enseñanza de las técnicas de costura avanzadas, incluyendo el uso de máquinas de coser y técnicas de acabado de alta calidad para garantizar que las prendas estén bien construidas y tengan un aspecto profesional.

ESTILISMO

Curso 2º / 12 horas semanales

El módulo de estilismo tiene como objetivo enseñar a los estudiantes cómo crear estilos y tendencias de moda. Este módulo se centra en proporcionar a los estudiantes las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para diseñar y crear un estilo determinado.

En este módulo, los estudiantes aprenderán a analizar las tendencias actuales de la moda, a identificar los estilos y tendencias que están emergiendo y a desarrollar sus propios estilos. También aprenderán a seleccionar y combinar diferentes prendas de vestir y accesorios para crear un estilo determinado.

Además, el módulo de estilismo también incluye la enseñanza de la teoría del color y cómo utilizarla para crear combinaciones armoniosas y atractivas. Los estudiantes también aprenderán sobre los diferentes tipos de tejidos y cómo seleccionar los adecuados para cada estilo.

El módulo de estilismo en el ciclo superior de estilismo de indumentaria en Andalucía también incluye la enseñanza de las técnicas de maquillaje y peinado, que son fundamentales para completar cualquier estilo y lograr un look coherente. Los estudiantes aprenderán a aplicar diferentes técnicas de maquillaje y peinado para complementar el estilo de la ropa y la personalidad del cliente.

FORMACIÓN Y ORIENTACIÓN LABORAL

Curso 2º / 4 horas semanales

El módulo de formación y orientación laboral tiene como objetivo preparar a los estudiantes para su futuro profesional en el mundo de la moda. Este módulo proporciona a los estudiantes las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para gestionar su carrera profesional y buscar empleo en el sector de la moda.

En este módulo, los estudiantes aprenderán sobre los derechos y deberes laborales, los contratos de trabajo, las normas de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo, y los derechos de los trabajadores en el sector de la moda. También aprenderán a diseñar un currículum vitae efectivo y a escribir cartas de presentación persuasivas.

Además, el módulo de formación y orientación laboral también incluye la enseñanza de las habilidades empresariales y de gestión necesarias para crear y dirigir una empresa en el sector de la moda. Los estudiantes aprenderán sobre el marketing y la publicidad, la gestión financiera, la gestión de recursos humanos y la gestión de la producción y distribución.

Este módulo también proporciona a los estudiantes información sobre las diferentes oportunidades de empleo en el sector de la moda, como diseñadores, estilistas, modelistas, patronistas, y otros roles relacionados. Los estudiantes también aprenderán sobre las tendencias actuales del mercado y las habilidades y conocimientos requeridos para tener éxito en cada área.

PUEDO SEGUIR ESTUDIANDO:

Una vez superado el ciclo se obtiene la titulación de Técnico Superior en Estilismo de Indumentaria, que da acceso a otros ciclos formativos, grados o titulaciones de grado superior.
El acceso resulta preferente a los grados y estudios superiores afines.
